For Ages 8+:

Online: Creating Games with Scratch (ages 8-11)
Create games and animations while being introduced to computer programming using Scratch, a visual block-based language developed by MIT to teach young people coding fundamentals. Scratch is used at high schools as well as many colleges and universities as an introduction to programming. This camp meets for an hour each day (Monday-Friday) and is designed for ages 8-11.

For Ages 9+:

Online: Coding Games in Python (ages 9-12)
Get an introduction to Python while exploring coding concepts and writing your own programs. If your child is interested in learning to code, Python is a great first programming language to learn. Students will write several programs during the week as they learn about variables, loops, conditions to create text-based games in Python. This online camp is designed for ages 9-12.

Online: Python Graphics & Animations (ages 9-12)
Create games and animations while learning to code using Scratch, a visual block-based language developed to teach young people computer programming fundamentals. Every week’s camp will cover a different set of projects. Scratch is used at high schools as well as many colleges and universities as an introduction to programming. This camp meets for an hour each day (Monday-Friday) and is designed for ages 12-15. Prerequisite: none.

For Ages 10+:

Online: Video Game Design with Unity (ages 10-13)
Create basic games in Unity, the world’s leading software for designing digital games in 2D and 3D. Students will become familiar with Unity’s features and tools while learning about game layout and mechanics.  This introductory online camp allows students to build their games in 2D without writing any code, and is designed for ages 10-13.

For Ages 11+:
Online: Video Game Development (ages 11-15)
Create a basic 2D video game in Unity, one of the most powerful 2D and 3D game creation platforms. Unity is the game engine used to develop more than 1/3 of the top games in the market place today. Become familiar with the Unity interface and learn about game layout and mechanics and writing code in the C# programming language. This online camp is designed for ages 11-15.
